I have to say that when I saw the email from
Joanne DeMaio that she had a treat for all her email followers, I was excited to
receive the email of the Beautiful cover reveal. I was so excited; I knew I had
to read this book.
Vera Sterling has come back home to attend
her sister’s wedding. Their Father taught them that snowflakes are like little crystal
stars to wish upon. So on her way back to her empty apartment and no job to go
back to. Vera puts on the brakes and invests in an old Colonial Home and Barn
she remembers as a child.
When Vera meets Derek there is always more
than meets the eye, He is able to help with fixing the things in the old home.
The only thing is he is in need of some mending of his own.
As the house becomes a list of fixes, she
decides she needs to look into more income, when finding a box of long ago
memories of an old Christmas Shop from long ago. As she uncovers each treasure,
wishes and dreams start to come to those in need.
Joanne as written this with such greatness, I
am captured by the characters new and old. I love that Joanne is able to
combine a little bit shore and closeness of friends and family what that true
meaning is.
